It's Another Run for Potter Rees

Staff at PotterRees have signed up for this year's Great Manchester 10k Run, taking place on 17th May 2009. Hugh, Rachel, Vicky, Fiona, Jerry, Margaret, Nicola, Sam, Cathy, Rebecca and Charlie will all be running in aid of BASIC (Brain and Spinal Injury Centre) which is based in Salford. BASIC is a specialist resource centre for people and their families in crisis following a traumatic brain injury or neurological diagnosis. This includes people recovering from severe head injury, brain haemorrhage, brain tumour and other brain-related conditions such as stroke and brain cancer.
Everyone has begun their own training regime already. There are a wide range of abilities within the team, ranging from absolute beginners through to those who have run marathons and competed in triathlons - as you can imagine, some will do better than others!!! However, we're all hoping to finish within the hour and to try and raise as much money as we can for this excellent cause.
