Career
Hugh developed an interest in head and spinal cord injury when he worked as a nurse during university holidays at a neurological hospital. Hugh qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and he has since specialised in pursuing head and spinal cord injury cases. Hugh has worked as a volunteer for Headway for over 18 years. In 1998 Hugh established the firm to offer the services of a number of experienced lawyers in this specialised field to those who have sustained devastating injuries.
Hugh Potter has received the top ranking from the Chambers UK 2012 guide for his work. The Chambers Guide is a comprehensive directory of solicitors and barristers in the UK. The rankings are based upon the extensive interviews carried out by the Chambers researchers including interviews with clients, leading claimant and defendant personal injury firms and leading personal injury barristers.
